How can someone lead you
when they don’t know where they’re going?
They say they want to lead—
but where are they actually taking you?
Since you’ve been following them,
where have you been led?
Where have you ended up?
These are questions worth asking.
Because not everyone who steps forward is meant to lead.
And not everyone who speaks with confidence carries clarity.
Be mindful of who you follow.

Some lead from a place of self—
their own desires, their own gain, their own recognition.
Some move with urgency, but no direction—
always chasing, yet never arriving.
Some speak quickly, but resist correction—
strong in opinion, weak in accountability.
Some expect others to carry the weight
of what they themselves have never taken time to learn.
This is not leadership.
This is confusion dressed as direction.
Chaos disguised as movement.
Illusion presented as vision.
And if you follow it long enough,
you will find yourself going in circles—
drained, distracted, and further from where you were meant to be.

True leadership is not loud.
It is not self-serving.
It does not pull you into disorder.
It is grounded.
It is clear.
It is aligned.
And it leads somewhere.
So pause and consider—
Who is leading you?
And where is that path truly going?
Because you will not arrive where you’re meant to be
by following someone who has no sense of where they are going.
